Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop June 17th

The Penn State Extension Master Gardeners and tree fruit extension specialist Dr. Robert Crassweller will host a Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop on Tuesday June 17th at 6 pm at the Ag Progress Days Site in Pennsylvania Furnace.

For directions click here (Enter through the entrance K at the grounds and turn right off of Main St. to get to the Demonstration Garden).

Dr. Crassweller will be providing hands-on instruction on how to prune fruit trees to maximize production and minimize pest and disease problems.

The cost for the workshop is $10 and space is limited to the first 20 registrants.  Interested persons should email Molly Sturniolo.

The event also provides an opportunity to check out the composting demonstration area, herb garden, high-tunnel operation, and pollinator garden.
