Aug. 3 – Water Conservation Workshop at Jason Lilley’s House

Water Conservation Workshop – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. August 3

(From Jason Lilley)

Water is a precious resource that is taken for granted. Let’s get together to discuss methods of conserving water for the reduction of erosion, personal use, and for our plants to use. We will have a short discussion about the many methods and reasons for retaining rain water. Topics include ponds and swales construction, and rain-barrel building and installation . We will then actually build and install a rain-barrel. We will start at 10:00 A.M Saturday August 3 and wrap up around 12:00 P.M. at 711 Kennard Rd. State College. Workshop is free. Contact Jason with questions.
