Winter Farmers Market Reminders

TODAY – State College Winter Farmers Market

Now in its third year, the State College Winter Farmers Market is open Fridays at the Borough Building (243 South Allen St.) from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Stop by to visit vendors including Spring Bank Acres, ABB Bison Farm, Dn’D Farms, Byler Goat Dairy, Deb’s Flower Farm, Nittany Valley Organics, Bergenblick Highland Farm, Sweet Heat Gourmet, Hidden Hollow Farms, King’s Canning, Woodside Acres and Elk Creek Fishery, offering a wide variety of products:

  • Meats: bison, grass-fed beef, pork, goat, lamb, veal, poultry, rabbit meat
  • Wild Alaska salmon and local trout
  • Eggs
  • Milk, cheese, and yogurt… from both cows and goats…Raw and pasturerized
  • Vegetables, such as winter squash, spinach and other greens, garlic, root veggies, onions and salad mix
  • BBQ sauce, hot sauce and other gourmet sauces
  • Soaps, lotions, shampoos, and candles
  • Canned goods, potato chips, and lots of amazing baked goodies
  • Flowers, potted plants, and hypertufa planters

TOMORROW – Old Gregg School Annual Winter Craft Fair & Market

“Head out to the the Old Gregg School Community Center to browse and buy items from many local artisans and crafters, as well as the local food available from the farmers market vendors. Humble Pie Catering will provide breakfast and lunch.” Open 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Vendors include:
