Work in Progress

Big Thanks to Megan McGill, Brett Liberto and Shane Gamble – students in Dorothy Blair’s fall Community Food Security class. As part of the community service component of their class, they’ve been gathering information about the seven farmers’ markets in the Central PA Farmers group, for use in watercolor maps of the markets. Thanks also to Betsy Green of Egg Hill Gardens, Barrie Moser of Moser’s Garden Produce, and Janet Robinson of Piper’s Peck, for helping correct early drafts.

When finished, the seven maps will be scanned and available for printing from the blog, and also included in the forthcoming Homesteaders’ Handbook.

Here’s the current draft – a color-coding work-in-progress that will eventually include the names of the farm owners and a short list of the products offered at each stand.
