Woodworking 101 – More Reskilling Through SCASD Community Ed

Woodworking 101 with Bill Hughes – Learn safe, effective use of primary power and hand tools as you plan and create simple wood projects for your personal use. Tools covered include: planer, joiner, table and arm saws, drill press, band saw, disc sander, jig saw, sander, dwelling jog, saber saw, router and lathe. Students provide their own wood and hardware.

Course info on page 9 of the Fall 2012 Course Schedule. All classes meet Tuesdays Oct. 9 through Nov. 13, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Room 402 at Park Forest Middle School. Cost is $110 for the 6-session series. Register by phone (231-1062), fax (231-1087), walk-in or mail-in (411 South Fraser St. weekdays 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) using the form on page 15 of the schedule.
