weaving potholders at the Appalachian Outdoors Spring Outdoor Expo - April 14, 2012

Looking ahead…the May 13 workshop on Weaving Potholders is especially good for kids. The instructor is a first-grader at Easterly Parkway Elementary School (assisted by her mother) and she’s very excited about sharing her potholder-making skills with other kids and grownups too. Parents can make potholders, or learn about Canning Strawberry Jam just across the room at the same time: Sunday, May 13 at 2:30 p.m.

Also – thanks to Betsy Gamble for forwarding information about the lawn and garden tool sale going on at the ReStore in Bellefonte.

PS – Happy “Hanging Out Day
