(From Jim Eisenstein) – Ah, those sweet memories of the Boalsburg Indoor Farmers Market. . . all that wonderful stuff. Alas, this Tuesday will be your last chance to relive these times because it is our last indoor market until November 6.
But don’t despair, because next week on April 24, we move back outdoors to the Pennsylvania Military Museum grounds to make way for primary election voting.
Meanwhile, as you talk over old times with this week’s vendors, you’ll find all the usual products you’ve come to expect indoors, including lots of fresh greens from a number of vendors. You can also buy fresh chickens from Beiler Family Farm and Cow-a-Hen will have Bill Calahan’s “fresh dressed spring chickens” as well as pork. Clan Stewart will be bringing a new batch of its granola. Come say farewell to our fine indoor market, and (if you come between 4:00 and 5:30), listen to Picker and Papa play and sing.
