Centre Region Farmers Needed for Documentary Film

Documentary Producers Seeking Farmer Stories:
FoodRoutes Network/Buy Fresh Buy Local (BFBL) is thrilled to be partnering on an exciting new project – Real Food … from Real People – a collection of stories about people like YOU who make it their life’s passion to produce incredible food that feeds our nation.
Real Food … from Real People will include a feature-length documentary, companion materials, web-based products and other video projects that showcase the wildly varied, unique, individual and inspiring stories that paint a picture of the modern day family farmer, forager, fisherman, rancher, and others.
FoodRoutes Netowrk/BFBL is working with the project to gather these stories. With 79 chapters across the country, we know there are countless untold stories of purpose, passion, history, joys, sorrows and triumphs…and we want YOU to share yours!
If you’re a part of our local food cycle and work with local food producers whose stories you think need to be told, we want to hear from you too! Tell us your story and about the local food producers you know and love.

Real Food … from Real People is an extension of the past five years of Rhonda Schuldt’s work meeting, documenting and sharing stories of local farms and food producers in local television and print. Real Food … from Real People will now take these stories nationwide.
FoodRoutes Network is a national organization dedicated to reintroducing Americans to their food – the seeds it grows from, the farmers who produce it, and the routes that carry it from the fields to our tables. Our primary program is Buy Fresh Buy Local, a 79-Chapter consumer education and marketing program for locally grown food.
