Buy Fresh Buy Local has also compiled a list of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farms:

Tait Farm Community Harvest, Centre Hall, PA, 814-466-2386, info@taitfarmfoods.com – “Tait Farm Foods is a producer of fine food products, grower of organic fruits and vegetables, and purveyor of food, plants and items of seasonal simplicity and elegance for the garden, kitchen and home. Community Harvest shares include vegetables from asparagus to zucchini (and strawberries in between)! The farm is located 7 miles east of State College, PA on Rt. 322 (near Penn State University). The farm has been in the Tait family since 1950.” Share Size – Individual Share: $375; Family: $1100; Workshare or Reduced Prices Available. Season Length – Half Year and Full Year available Delivery Locations – Pick-up at farm. Produce is also available at the State College Downtown Farmers Market every Friday June through November.

Howard’s End CSA Farm – Howard, PA – 814-571-5414 – “Howard’s End Farm is a small but very diversified organic farm utilizing raised beds, compost, biochar, vermiculture and other natural and carbon neutral methods to produce a wide range of vegetables, fruits, berries, herbs, mushrooms, pastured chickens, and fish in an aesthetic setting.”
