At the April 2 annual Spring Banquet of the Spring Creek Chapter of Trout Unlimited, TU will be live auctioning one slot for the April 9 ClearWater Conservancy “Day on Spring Creek with four Penn State Flyfishing Legends.”
Also at the TU banquet, ClearWater will give a short talk about its Galbraith Gap Land Acquisition Project, the beneficiary of the “Legends” event.
Enjoyed each year by Trout Unlimited members and non-members alike, the April 2 banquet features a silent auction, bucket raffles, 52 card draws, a 50/50 and a live auction for trips, outdoor gear and items from Centre County businesses. Held at the Ramada Inn, State College, the event begins with happy hour at 5:30 p.m. and a buffet dinner served at 7. Adult cost is $35 for the dinner, dessert and keg. Cash bar. The cost for children under 15 is $15.
